Student Experiments with IR Beamline

Perth teenager Darren Ng, a year 11 student at All Saints College in Bull Creek, recently became one of Australia’s youngest synchrotron users when he used synchrotron infrared microspectroscopy to help examine a series of fingermarks.

TARDIS to Store Synchrotron Data

The Australian Synchrotron and ANSTO have both selected TARDIS/MyTARDIS software developed by Monash University to assist with storing and managing scientific data generated at their facilities.
