Schoolies at the synchrotron

'Careers in Chemistry' is a careers education session for female students in Year 10 who are interested in studying Chemistry. It aims to engage and inspire females in particular to think about a scientific career, and provide students with the information and tools to make an informed decision about choosing Chemistry at university.

The event will be held at the National Centre for Synchrotron Science at the Australian Synchrotron. A tour of the Synchrotron will be provided for up to 75 people (including teachers) and must be booked in advance. 

The event is being run by the Women in Chemistry Group of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI). 

The closing date for applications is 4 July 2013 and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
