The 5th Australian Colloid and Interface Symposium (ACIS meeting) is on in Hobart in February 2011.

The symposium's two session themes are (a) Minerals and Materials and (b) Neutron and Synchrotron Techniques.

Two keynotes will be – Pupa Gilbert (nee De Stasio) from Wisconsin-Madison in the Materials and Minerals theme (PEEM etc); and Michael Zharnikov from Heidelberg in the Synchrotron theme (photoemission and NEXAFS) of surfaces.

Dr David Beattie (david.beattie@unisa.edu.au) is co-organising these two themes.

The abstract deadline is the 1st September.
