Thank you to everyone who entered the October 2013-March 2014 photo competition at the Australian Synchrotron.
The winner of the October 2013-March 2014 photo competition is ‘SXR endstation with bonus Coke can’ by Gary Ruben, CSIRO-sponsored post-doctoral fellow on the XFM beamline at the Australian Synchrotron. The judges liked “the high tech look with the juxtaposition of the coke can” and described Gary’s photo as “very industrial movie set”, “very sci fi, almost alien looking”, and “a great fisheye impression”.
