Contractors, their employees, their sub-contractors and employees of their sub-contractors are required to complete the Australian Synchrotron's Safety Induction prior to commencing work at this facility. In addition, refresher Safety Induction is required under the following conditions:

  • there has been a lapse of twelve (12) months since the last time the individual was previously inducted                      
  • there has been a change to the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act or OHS Regulations
  • there has been a change to the Australian Synchrotron's business processes, policies or procedures, or
  • recent developments have impacted on the Australian Synchrotron's OHS management system.
